Author Guidelines

Journal of Applied Science, Information and Management (JASIM) welcomes original research articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in applied science, information systems, information technology, management, digital business, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Authors are required to carefully read and follow these guidelines before submitting a manuscript. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's scope, formatting requirements, ethical standards, or submission policies may be returned to the authors for correction or may be rejected prior to peer review.

Title
The title should accurately and concisely describe the main subject of the research. It should clearly communicate the research focus and avoid unnecessary abbreviations, overly general expressions, and unnecessary technical terminology. The title should preferably be concise, informative, and specific to the research problem, method, context, or principal contribution. Authors should avoid using subtitles separated by a colon unless the title structure substantively requires it.

Abstract
The abstract should provide a concise and self-contained summary of the research, including the research background or problem, objective, methodology, main findings, and conclusion or contribution. It should be written as a single paragraph and should generally contain 150–250 words. The abstract should not include citations, references, tables, figures, or undefined abbreviations.

Introduction
The Introduction should provide the research context, explain the significance of the research problem, and present relevant and recent literature. It should identify the research gap, clearly state the research objective or questions, and explain the novelty or contribution of the study.

Methods
The Methods section should clearly explain how the research was conducted. It should include the research design, data sources, population or participants, sampling procedures, research instruments, variables, data collection procedures, and analytical methods, as applicable. Sufficient methodological information should be provided to support transparency and reproducibility.

Results and Discussions
The Results and Discussions section should present the main findings of the research in a clear and logical manner. Results should be supported by appropriate tables, figures, statistical analyses, or other relevant evidence where necessary. The discussion should interpret the findings in relation to the research objectives, existing literature, theoretical perspectives, and research context. Authors should clearly explain the significance, implications, similarities, differences, and potential contributions of the findings.

Conclusions
The Conclusions section should summarize the principal findings and directly address the research objectives or questions. It should emphasize the main contribution and implications of the study without simply repeating the Results and Discussions. Where appropriate, authors may briefly state the study limitations and recommendations for future research.

Acknowledgments
The Acknowledgments section may be included to recognize individuals, institutions, funding organizations, research facilities, or other parties that provided significant support to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship. Authors should disclose relevant funding or institutional support where applicable.

References
The References section should contain all sources cited in the manuscript and should follow a consistent citation and reference style required by JASIM. Authors should ensure that every in-text citation has a corresponding reference and that every listed reference is cited in the manuscript. References should prioritize relevant, reliable, and recent scholarly sources, particularly peer-reviewed publications.
